A small relaxed and friendly group for people with and without disabilities and their friends.
You will have the chance to learn and practice mindfulness using a variety of techniques such as mindful eating and mindful movement, these are explained in a clear and simple way using visual aids to help understanding. We have discussions on topics such as the qualities of kindness , pre-judgement and labels, group members are welcome to join in or just listen. Every week we go on a different wonderful adventure to a beautiful relaxing place in our imagination with guided meditations.
We close the session by passing around a pebble and practicing gratitude for things we appreciate in life.
This is not a religious group and anyone is welcome of any faith or no faith.
