Liberated observational drawing
Thursday 15 October, 2pm to 3.30pm
This workshop is about exploring the process more then the finished picture.
Whether you are haven’t drawn since childhood, or are an accomplished artist, this is a different way of experiencing drawing which can open your mind to the act of drawing and enable you to feel differently about it.
Before the workshop you will need to find a natural object that you like the look of, it can be a fruit or vegetable, a flower, leaf, or conker in it's shell. It doesn't have to be typically beautiful, but something which you think is interesting, for example you might think that an old leaf with holes in it is attractive because of its texture.
What you will need: A natural object, pencil, pencil sharpener, a few sheets of paper of any size (A4 or larger is best), the back of large envelopes, or paper bags are okay if you haven't got anything else.
Hannah is a qualified and experienced artist, meditation teacher and workshop facilitator. Open to people with disabilities.
