Radio Lewes is now a Community Interest Company focussing on giving people with disabilities the opportunity to work alongside others in the community. It was founded by disabled people engaged with online media webcasting and is fully supported by the Oyster Project charity and its members.
Radio Lewes is a great opportunity to gain experience of a work-like environment. Working alongside each other in a fun, music based setting there are opportunities to learn real skills, tfrom DJing, podcast production and broadcast.
Organisational skills and communicating is an integral part of the process, and progress can be made in ways suitable to individual needs.
